“I want to be a positive role model for my three kids.”
“I want to eat better, be healthier and live longer.”
“I often feel overwhelmed. How do I get more organized so I can prioritize my goals AND enjoy life in the process.”
These are just a few quotes from feedback we’ve received on the first two workshops we’ve had, which covered peak performance and goal setting.
A little over seven years ago, as I was first getting started on my entrepreneurial journey, I knew I wanted to do BIG THINGS, but I couldn't tell you what they were. It took time to a) identify some targets and b) put a plan in place to start to move in that direction. And it all started with re-setting what I do first thing in the morning.
Join us next Monday night at 6pmPST as Kirsten will dive deeper into what Daily Habits look like to help us identify and target and make a plan of action around what’s most important to us. Register below, it’s not too late to join our community and learn tools which can change everything!
Kirsten has used this process for everything from becoming a DI athlete to landing her “dream job”, to traveling the world and meeting her “dream man” and having a family while creating her own business, podcast and eventually writing a book.

What an exciting and exhilarating few weeks it has been. If someone had told me years ago, I’d be doing weekly episodes of #RaisingAthletes FIVE years later and would be getting 9-time World Champion basketball player and coach, Steve Kerr on to celebrate #100, I would have lost my mind!
Or wait, maybe that’s exactly what I did. And I want to teach YOU how to do it, too.
We’ve been busy over here having so much fun creating…
✅Team KJ launched our first Mindset Mastery Workshop series. We have already covered Goal Setting & Visualization. Up next- Daily Habits.
✅I sat down with a very special student athlete, my 23-yr old son, MBA grad student at Claremont Grad University (CGU) and member of the Claremont-McKenna-Scripps (CMS) men’s basketball team, Caelan.
We talked about the ups and downs of his basketball journey. I’ve lived it through a parenting lens, but it was wonderful to hear about it from his perspective. What he’s learned along the way about himself and what he values. It wasn’t easy or simple, but he explains at the end how his belief in his mission was a guiding light in getting through the dark times and led him to an incredible year in 2024. And he’s not done yet!
This supersized episode will drop on Monday 4/22!
✅ I had multiple speaking events, including speaking to parents (Partnership for Awareness - San Marion, CA), students (Central Lakes College) and parents and their athletes (BTI Hoops) about Raising Empowered Athletes (Leaders).
FROM MATT MCGONIGLE - Former D1 Soccer Player and current TEAM KJ
As we talk about the Winning Mindset workshops on Visualization and Goal Setting, I thought it would be good timing to share my thoughts on visualization and how it benefits my life. I believe visualization should not be limited to just athletes and everyone could benefit from some form of intentional visualization. Everyone has practiced visualization whether or not they realize it, many people fall into the trap of replaying a mistake in their head or thinking about the worst-case scenario. There are dozens of reasons why everyone should visualize (and Kirsten goes through this in depth in these workshops) but here are 3 of the reasons I practice intentional visualization!
It reminds me to trust the process and keep working towards my goals.
When working towards a long-term goal, whether that means looking to win a championship or building a business it takes a lot of mental endurance. Projects like these could take years to accomplish so it is important to keep focused and trust the process. Visualizing the goal at hand, and the excitement that comes with it reminds me what I am working towards and to stay on course.
Visualization prepares me for the hard moments.
No matter the goal at hand it is bound to come with challenges. When I visualize it allows me to imagine the hard moments and what I will do when those moments come, “how will I refocus after a hard loss”, “what will I put in place if we lose someone from the project unexpectedly.” This is different from imagining the worst to occur and making myself nervous over it, it is a preparation for how I will handle challenges with a clear mind.
Allows me to be more aware about negative self-talk and negative visualization.
Many people unintentionally visualize the worst moments that could occur. They replay the mistake they had over and over and then are surprised when the same thing occurs when the situation presents itself again. After practicing visualization for a few years now I feel confident in my ability to notice when I am wasting energy on pointless negative self-talk. It helps me address my challenges with an easy mind away from the emotion of the situation.
There are so many more reasons why visualization can benefit people but finding ways it can improve you as an individual will help this tool become a habit which is why working with Kirsten is so transformational for me!!!
You don’t want to miss this LIVE coaching workshop. ✍️📖👩🏫
Thanks Matt! It’s truly powerful hearing from the student athletes that have used these tools and gotten results 👏👏👏
I’ve really enjoyed the first 2 weeks sharing tools, tips and tricks for how to get what you want. And here’s the really good news, there is NO magic. Although, as a mom, sitting on the sidelines, watching one of my kids not get what they really wanted, I wish it were that easy!
And by the way, this isn’t about the scholarship, this is about getting whatever YOU want in life. Athletes, maybe it’s making the team or getting more playing time. Parents, maybe for you, it’s getting that dream job or taking that once in a lifetime vacation. Whatever it is YOU want, that’s what these tools can help you create.
Over these 5 weeks, we will learn Peak Performance tools like:
Goal Setting
Tribe of 5
Purging
Visualization
Daily Habits
Meditation
Journaling
Flow State
Join us this MONDAY, APRIL 22nd for a daily habits workshop where I’ll teach you game changing tools to unlock your superpowers. 🦸♂️🦸♀️
