Creating Unshakable Confidence with Pro 🏀 Athlete: Tucker Richardson

What's the #1 issue most parents reach out asking for help with?

Hands down, zero competition … confidence.

Here’s message from a parent I received this week, “How can I help my 12 year old daughter be more aggressive on the volleyball court? Tryouts are in ten days… coaches like her because she has good fundamentals… but she lacks the aggression to attack the ball.”

It’s true that some times kids aren’t wired for competition. But it is also true that confidence is built upon reps. If they haven’t been playing very long and aren’t quite sure how to use their body yet (hello, puberty!), coming out onto the floor and playing in “beast mode” is a tall order.

Tucker Richardson returned to chat with Kirsten today about how he went from being an undersized kid in high school, to going to prep school with single Division I offer, to becoming a multi-time Patriot League Player of the Year, leading Colgate’s team into March Madness FOUR years in a row to now playing professionally in Europe for the last two years.

I believe we teach what we need to learn, do get ready for a Master Class from Tucker on how to build your confidence. Please enjoy our chat about just a sliver of the tool he goes into and then go get the course! $10 off for all Raising Athletes substack subscribers with code:
