Today’s guest is head coach of the highly successful (26-2 in 2021 season) New York University’s Women’s Volleyball Team. Coach Brown discusses his atypical path to the coaching profession and the differences of playing DI, DII or DIII volleyball. Playing at a highly academic DIII has a lot of perks (yes, international travel!) as well as a great opportunity to delve into other experiences in college as the off-season is much longer and the in season less time consuming. He also goes very deep on what are the attributes of a successful recruits and some good insider tips if you’re trying to get noticed by college coaches.
